Who we are

Busy Plumbing (“we”, “us”) is a commercial and trade plumbing contractor operating in Melbourne, Victoria. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you submit our tender or enquiry form, or email us, we collect the details you provide:

• project or client name
• business email address and phone number
• project address or suburb
• the service you need and your description of the scope

We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and tenders, carry out and document the work you engage us for, and meet our legal and compliance obligations, including Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC) documentation. We do not sell or rent your information.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to deliver our services or meet the law. That includes our website and form hosting provider, which stores form submissions on our behalf, and regulators where we are legally required to. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Job and compliance records may need to be kept for longer.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing support@busyplumbing.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
